Cookie Policy

Due to recent EU law changes each website must explicitly state that they will be using cookies. This website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the site.

This site uses a content management system that uses cookies to store some basic, essential data on your interactions with it, such as whether you have logged in. Other cookies state if you have previously logged into the website, and are optionally used to remember your login details for future visits.

Types of information stored

This cookie does not store personal information about you, but if you are a registered user it is used to update your personal record in the website database. This will be stored for 90 days.
  • alc_enc: If you check “Remember email and password for next time” a cookie “alc_enc” is set. This will be stored for 90 days.

Google Analytics

We store cookies to support analysis and understanding of how people use the website (what they like most, when is the busiest time of day on the site, have people found new content when it is published, etc.). This analysis is to help improve the usage and effectiveness of the website. The data collection and reporting behind this analysis is currently provided by Google Analytics. Users’ continued use will indicate agreement to the use of a Google Analytical cookie. More information on this cookie and advice on how to stop this cookie being used is set out below.

These cookies are used to store information, such as what time your current visit occurred, whether you have been to the site before, and what site referred you to the web page.

These cookies contain no personally identifiable information but they will use your computer’s IP address to know from where in the world you are accessing the internet.

In order to provide website visitors with more choice on how data is collected by Google Analytics, Google has developed the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The add-on communicates with the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js) to stop data being sent to Google Analytics. The Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on does not affect usage of the website in any other way. A link to further information on the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on is provided below for your convenience.

For more information on the usage of cookies by Google Analytics please see the Google website. A link to the privacy advice for this product is provided below for your convenience.
